Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it, and reads again on later visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, store information on your device in the same way. This policy covers both, and refers to them together as cookies.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first party cookies. Cookies set by another company through that website are third party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or until you delete them.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for a website to work, for example to keep you signed in or to remember your shopping bag. These do not require your consent. All other cookies, such as those used for analytics or advertising, may only be placed with your prior consent.
This Website uses cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you request, to verify your age, to process your payment securely, or to remember choices you make on the Website. With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to understand how the Website is used. It does not use advertising, social media or other tracking cookies. On your first visit a banner asks for your choice; analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them.
Card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay are handled through Stripe and your device or browser wallet, and do not place further cookies on this Website. If you choose Klarna or PayPal, you are taken to their own pages to complete the payment, where they place their own cookies under their own cookie policies.
Icons on this Website are provided by Font Awesome, a service of Fonticons, Inc., United States, and are loaded from its servers. Font Awesome does not place cookies on your device, but your browser connects to its servers to load the icons, which means your IP address and basic browser information are transmitted to Fonticons, Inc. More information is available in the Font Awesome privacy policy.
To determine your country for the age check, your IP address is sent to our geolocation service at ipgeoapi.drands.es, operated on our behalf by ICONYC Solutions SL, Spain. Only your approximate country is kept, in your browser, for the duration of your visit.
Some forms on this Website, including the age check, are protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., United States. It analyses technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from automated programs and does not use them for advertising. More information is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
This Website does not embed social media plugins. Links to ICONYC on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, SoundCloud, Beatport and DI.FM are plain links. Those platforms only place their own cookies once you visit them, under their own cookie policies, which this policy does not cover.
Analytics cookies are only placed after you accept them in the cookie banner. Accepting and refusing are equally easy, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, through Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw it, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off in the banner, as the Website does not work without them.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and completing purchases. Instructions for the most common browsers are available below.
Information collected through cookies is processed by authorised staff of CAA Media SRL and by service providers acting on our behalf under written data processing agreements, including ICONYC Solutions SL, which hosts the Website on its own servers in Spain, Stripe for payments and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Stripe also processes fraud prevention data as an independent controller. We do not sell this information or share it for advertising.
Where information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to Font Awesome, Cloudflare, Google and Stripe group companies in the United States, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards at privacy@iconyc.cc.
In relation to personal data collected through cookies, you have the following rights under Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR:
- Right of access — to ask whether we process your data and to receive a copy.
- Right to rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Right to erasure — to have your data deleted where it is no longer needed or lawfully processed.
- Right to restriction — to have processing restricted in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent — to withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Right to complain — to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Autorité de protection des données) at www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 07. Requests are free of charge and answered within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you why.
For any question about this Cookie Policy or your personal data, contact the data controller free of charge using the details below. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
