Fashion Designer
Full Time Position
About ICONYC
ICONYC is a New York-born luxury brand built on craftsmanship, culture, and an unmistakable point of view. Our collections carry that point of view into the world, and every piece has to earn its place. This role is where those pieces begin.
The Role
We're looking for a Fashion Designer to contribute to seasonal collections from concept through to production-ready specification, working closely with the Creative Director and production team. You'll move fluently between creative development and technical execution, translating a vision into garments that hold up to luxury standards in both design and construction. Rigorous technical training and a singular creative sensibility are required.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the design of seasonal collections, from research and concept development through sketching, fabric selection, and silhouette development. Produce production-ready specifications, including technical drawings, spec sheets, and construction details. Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and refine the collection's direction, and with the production team to ensure designs are executed faithfully. Participate in fittings, reviewing samples for fit, construction, and finish, and driving corrections through to approval. Research fabrics, trims, and techniques, building relationships with mills and suppliers alongside the production team. Maintain the balance between creative ambition and commercial and production realities.
What You Bring
You have rigorous technical training in fashion design and a singular creative sensibility. Experience with luxury or contemporary ready-to-wear is essential; an atelier or tailoring background is a significant advantage. You're skilled in pattern awareness, garment construction, and fit, and you produce clean, precise technical packages. You're proficient in Adobe Illustrator and standard design tools. You take direction well, contribute ideas confidently, and thrive working closely with a Creative Director. A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative range and technical depth is required.
Nice to have: experience across menswear and womenswear, knowledge of Clo3D or other 3D design tools, experience working directly with factories and ateliers, additional languages.
What We Offer
A formative design role in a growing luxury brand, working directly with the Creative Director. A working culture built on trust and output. Competitive compensation, with your expectations shared in the application form. Access to the people, products, and rooms that shape luxury around the world, wherever you're based.
How to Apply
Submit your application through the form below, including a link to your portfolio, your salary expectations, and your current location. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. We review every application and respond to all candidates.
