Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Manager
Full Time Position
ICONYC · Location: TBC · Full-time
About ICONYC
ICONYC is a New York-born luxury brand built on craftsmanship, culture, and an unmistakable point of view. We operate across spirits, fragrance, fashion, and media in multiple jurisdictions. Getting it right is not optional. This role makes sure we do.
The Role
We're looking for a Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Manager who understands the regulatory landscape across our product categories and keeps the business ahead of regulatory changes. You'll work closely with legal counsel, production, and brand teams to ensure that every product carrying the ICONYC name meets the highest standards: commercially, legally, and ethically. You are rigorous, proactive, and fluent in translating regulatory complexity into operational clarity.
What You'll Do
Own regulatory compliance across spirits, fragrance, fashion, and media in every jurisdiction where ICONYC operates. Monitor regulatory developments across markets and product categories, keeping the business ahead of changes rather than reacting to them. Work with legal counsel on licensing, registrations, and regulatory filings across jurisdictions. Partner with production and supply chain teams on product compliance, including labeling, ingredient and safety requirements, and certifications. Review brand and marketing materials with brand teams to ensure claims, advertising, and campaigns meet regulatory and ethical standards, including alcohol marketing rules. Build and maintain compliance processes, documentation, and training that scale with the business. Manage relationships with regulators, external advisors, and certification bodies. Translate regulatory complexity into clear, practical guidance that teams can act on.
What You Bring
You have experience in spirits, cosmetics, or fashion compliance within a multi-market context; this is essential. Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks and Belgian or broader European commercial law is strongly preferred. You have a working knowledge of category-specific regimes, which may include alcohol licensing and labeling, EU Cosmetics Regulation and IFRA standards, textile labeling, or advertising codes. You're rigorous and detail-driven, but pragmatic: you find the compliant path forward rather than simply flagging risk. You communicate clearly with legal, creative, and operational audiences alike, and you're comfortable working across time zones in a fast-scaling international business.
Nice to have: legal or regulatory affairs qualification, experience with UK, US, or UAE regulatory regimes, experience in media or publishing compliance, additional languages.
What We Offer
Ownership of a critical function in a growing international luxury brand, working closely with legal counsel and leadership. A working culture built on trust and output. Competitive compensation, with your expectations shared in the application form. Access to the people, products, and rooms that shape luxury around the world, wherever you're based.
