Born and raised in a small town of Southern Italy, Luigi R. Gargano began studying music at the age of five. He studied piano and saxophone and then graduated with honors and special mention at the “G. Martucci” Conservatory of Music in Salerno. He attends several master's courses with the guidance of some of the greatest piano colossi such as Aldo Ciccolini, Bruno Canino, Leonid Margarius, and many others, always standing out for his technique and high expressive skills. He also started his career within different Jazz bands, which led him to perform in numerous remarkable events that allowed him, at the same time, to improve his ear and his musical improvisation technique. At the age of 17, he approaches electronic music and is fascinated by this new world. Gradually, he manages to establish himself by demonstrating originality and great compositional gifts quickly distinguishing himself both as a producer and as a DJ with several performances in some of the most renowned clubs in the world. So we are talking about a complete artist continuously evolving who naturally moves among different genres, from classical to jazz, from fusion to electronics, always mixing new repertoires and daily experimenting with new ideas and influences.
